It is now available the form to apply to the Volunteer program. Don't miss the opportunity to take part to the cross country event in Venaria Reale. The application areas are media, competition and logistics

Applications to become volunteers are officially open. The SPAR European Cross Championships Piemonte 2022-La Mandria Park are back in Italy and this is an opportunity for everyone! They will take place in Venaria Reale near Turin. The best athletes of the specialty will gather on a beautiful route inside the La Mandria Park on 11 December 2022, celebrating athletic performances and the desire of European people to experience wonderful sport days together! The volunteer program involves hundreds of people and ensures that the Championships can be realized and have the best success. Whether you have practiced sport in the past or do it daily, whether it has already been a volunteer or it is the first time, you are welcome and together we will live an exciting experience and build an event that everyone will remember.

The key activities into which you can apply are:

Logistics - Accreditation
Volunteers from this area will welcome athletes, coaches and the EA Family and will produce and distribute accreditations.

Logistics - Teams’ hotels
Volunteers from this area will manage the athletes, technicians and the EA Family’s stay at the hotels.

Logistics - Transportation
Volunteers from this area will take care of transporting the athletes, technicians and the EA Family to the competition venue.

Competition - Race course / Start and finish areas / Race area
Volunteers in this area will help in the running of the competition, supporting the athletes before and after the race and providing support to the coaches. There are also working stations where volunteers can support event entrance, transportation and mobility services, audience management, and other aspects of event management.

Competition - Opening ceremony
The volunteers who will represent the various Nations during the opening ceremony of the Championships will be identified among the Volunteers of the Competition sector - Race course / Start and finish areas / Race area.

Competition - VIP / EA Club
Volunteers in this area will support the delegates and all those who will converge in Turin and who belong to the big "family" of European Athletics. For this job, it is required at least a fluent knowledge of the English language.

Media Operations
Volunteers in this area will take care of media needs, including providing information on events, distributing results and assisting photographers and media staff in various aspects of their work.
