A unique itinerary in the world

The itinerary of the "Rome Half Marathon Via Pacis" is unique in the world because it brings together the most important places of religious cult of the city with the architectural beauties and archeological sites.
The start is in Piazza San Pietro, with the Basilica behind of the runners, then it crosses the Prati district passing in Piazza Cavour. Then you pass along the Lungotevere to arrive in front of the Mosque, the point more to the north of the itinerary. It continues in the Flaminio district passing near the Parco della Musica Auditorium, then you go back on the lungotevere entering in the historical center of the Eternal City from Piazza Augusto Imperatore, after passing in front of the Ara Pacis. In the center you will run in Via del Corso, Piazza Venezia, Via dei Fori Imperiali, turns around the Colosseum passing through Via San Gregorio with view on the Arch of Constantine, it laps the Circus Maximus and then passes in front of the Synagogue back to Piazza San Pietro where you conclude the 21,097 kilometers of "Rome Half Marathon Via Pacis".
