Every runner who participates in the most exciting and fascinating test of the race, the marathon, dreams of crossing the finish line after 42.195 kilometers to receive the finisher medal. On April 7, who will cut the final finish of the XXV ACEA marathon Internazionale di Roma, in Via dei Fori Imperiali,  receive an original medal whose graphic subject was created by the Roman illustrator Fabiola Martelli. The medal was born from the idea of representing, thanks to two historical monuments known all around the world, the grandeur of Roman history and sport. The Colosseum, built to house the gladiatorial games and became over the centuries the most known monument in the world associated with the city and Roman history, and the Arch of Constantine, which during the games of the XVII Century of Rome 1960 was the finish line of the marathon. Both monuments, close by position, represent one of the most beautiful and suggestive views of Rome.
