MEDIA ACCREDITATION
You will receive your accreditation card from 9 to 11 December during opening hours (see below) at the Welcome Desk of the Media Centre, located in the Conference Centre of the Chia Laguna Resort.
For organizational reasons, we kindly invite you to collect your accreditation card in the days before the competition.

PRESS CONFERENCE
The Official Press Conference will be held on the eve of the Chia 2016 SPAR European Cross Country Championships, on Saturday 10 December 2016 at 13:00 at the Chia Laguna Resort.
A detailed list with names of the athletes participating in the Press Conference will be published on the LOC website, www.chia2016.eu.

INTERVIEWS REQUESTS
Any specific request for dedicated one-on-one pre-event interviews with athletes not being already part of the Press Conference, should be mailed to annachiara.spigarolo@fidal.it. The Local Organising Committee, in cooperation with the athletes’ delegations, will do their best to meet your request.

PHOTOGRAPHERS’ BRIEFING
The Photographers’ briefing will be held in the venue course on Sunday 11 December, at 8:30 am.
Numbered bibs will be distributed during the briefing.
All accredited photographers must attend the briefing, since distribution of Photo bibs will take place and the circulation through the course will be explained.
Photo bibs will be distributed only in exchange of an ID or a deposit equivalent to €20 to ensure they are returned to EA at the end of the competition.
All the photographers will be able to work from dedicated infield positions.

INTERNET CONNECTION
The Media Centre at the Chia Laguna Resort, the Mixed zone and the media tribune on the course venue will be served by a free dedicated Wi-Fi internet service.
Accredited media representatives will be able to get their own internet access credentials upon request at the Media Desks.

TRANSPORTATION
Media representatives will be transferred from and to the airport according to travel details. Media Representatives staying at the media hotel (Aquadulci Hotel, Chia, Loc. Spartivento, 09010 Domus de Maria, Cagliari, Italia) will be transferred from the media hotel to the course and viceversa. Please note that if you are not guest of the media hotel (Aquadulci Hotel, Chia, Loc. Spartivento, 09010 Domus de Maria, Cagliari, Italia), there will be no transfer from the media centre to any hotel.

Room rates:
Single occupancy: 125 EUR
Double/Twin occupancy: 190 EUR
Quoted prices are per room, per night and include HALF-BOARD ACCOMMODATION and tax/VAT.
Cancellation policy:
· For any cancellation made until Friday 11 November 2016, no cancellation fee will be charged.
· For any cancellation made as from 12 November 2016, 100% of your total accommodation cost will be charged as a cancellation fee, unless room is re-sold for the same period.
Payment policy:
You will receive in the coming days/weeks an e-mail with your accommodation invoice to proceed with your payment.
You are kindly requested to proceed with the payment no later than five (5) working days after receipt of this e-mail in order to guarantee your hotel booking.
The confirmation of your accommodation booking will be guaranteed only after receipt of the full payment of your accommodation cost.
Failure to adhere to these payment terms will result in the cancellation of the reservation.

MEALS

The buffet breakfast, to be taken at the Hotel Acquadulci, and the Buffet Dinner (water included) to be taken at the Terrazza Restaurant (Laguna Hotel***** - Chia Laguna Resort) are included in your room rate (half-board).

Please note that vouchers for buffet lunch (water included) to be taken at the Terrazza Restaurant (Laguna Hotel***** - Chia Laguna Resort) will be available for purchase at the rate of 25,00 € per person/lunch. 

MEDIA REGISTRATION

Media accreditation for the Chia 2016 SPAR European Cross Country Championships (11 December) is open for written press, photographers and broadcast non-rights holders. 

The deadline for applications with or without official media hotel accommodation is Friday 11 November 2016.

Written press, photographers and Broadcast non-rights holders are able to apply for accreditation by clicking here.

Broadcast rights holders (TV and Radio) have received a unique username and password which they can use to access the media accreditation system.
